IFA 2026 in Berlin has already produced several notable technology announcements before the show opens to the public. The highlights include new laptops, a gaming handheld, a portable controller and a robot vacuum.
Acer’s Project DualPlay Mini Concept is a Windows-based gaming handheld with a swiveling design that moves its 8-inch screen above a mini keyboard, turning it into a small portable PC. Dell’s 14S laptop starts with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with options for 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It also has a 1080P webcam with face unlock, two USB-C ports and four color options.
The $1,199 iRobot Roomba Max 875 Combo adds “SealForce,” which lowers a skirt around the cleaning head on carpet to improve suction. It offers up to 35,000 Pa of suction, mopping, lidar and camera-based navigation, and can climb obstacles up to 3.5cm tall.
Under Jsaux’s new Voidjoy brand, the $49.99 SkyLark S1 Pro supports Bluetooth, USB-C and 2.4GHz connections. Acer’s 16-inch Vero 16 provides tool-free access to its SSD and battery, while the $39.99 Jsaux Elite Extender adds four mappable buttons to the original Nintendo Switch Pro controller but hinders Amiibo functionality.
