Privacy Policy

Effective date: 10 August 2026

Verinu News does not require a reader account. This policy explains the limited information used to operate the multilingual news service.

Browser preferences

Your selected language is stored in a cookie. Theme, text size, layout, viewed-story state, and installation-prompt choices are stored locally in your browser. These settings are used only to provide the reading experience you selected.

Technical information

Our hosting and security systems may process IP address, browser details, request times, and security logs to deliver the site, diagnose faults, and prevent abuse. Verinu does not use browser preferences to build an advertising profile.

Retention and controls

Preference data remains until its stated expiry or until you clear site data. Technical logs are kept only for a reasonable operational and security period. You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser at any time.

Sources and contact

Articles link to external publishers, which apply their own privacy policies. Privacy questions can be sent through the contact page.
