Pre-orders are open for Nvidia RTX Spark laptops, with the first models scheduled to ship on October 16. Prices start at $2,599.99, and more powerful configurations can cost more, according to TechRadar.
The lineup includes models from Microsoft, Asus, Lenovo, HP and Dell. The source recommends three options for small businesses exploring local AI: Microsoft's 15-inch Surface Laptop Ultra, HP's 16-inch OmniBook Ultra 16 and the Asus ProArt P16.
The Surface Laptop Ultra starts at $2,599.99 and offers up to 128GB of unified memory. HP's laptop has a 3K OLED touchscreen and up to 128GB of unified memory. Its 24GB and 32GB configurations use a smaller RTX Spark chip; models with 48GB or more have a 20-core Grace CPU and a 6,144-core Blackwell GPU.
The 16-inch Asus ProArt P16 offers up to 128GB of unified memory and 2TB of storage. Nvidia's RTX Spark platform pairs a Grace CPU with a Blackwell GPU, with memory configurations from 24GB to 128GB. The full chip has a 20-core CPU and 6,144-core GPU; the lower-end version has an 18-core CPU and 5,120-core GPU.
TechRadar says local processing can let businesses handle information without sending every request to cloud services. It also notes that memory capacity alone does not guarantee performance: model size, precision, software compatibility and available GPU resources matter. Pre-orders are available through Best Buy and other manufacturers.
