Meta expands AI agent Muse to small businesses

Meta is expanding its AI agent Muse to small businesses, adding integrations with services including Shopify, Dropbox and Slack. The company announced the expansion on Tuesday.

Muse can connect with software businesses use for sales, operations and marketing, as well as Instagram professional account analytics, Facebook Pages and Meta ad accounts. Meta says the agent can help owners run their businesses and find customers. It is designed to understand what a business sells, its brand voice and the questions customers ask most often.

Other new integrations include Asana, Box, Canva, Figma, Granola, HighLevel, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Lovable, Notion, Stripe and Zoom. Muse for Small Business is free with usage limits; businesses can purchase a subscription for more usage.

Meta said in a blog post that small businesses told the company they were “short on hours, not ideas,” and that Muse was built to help get work done with tools they already use.

The expansion follows Meta’s efforts to bring its AI tools to business customers. A day earlier, the company introduced Meta Enterprise Platform, an initiative to expand its AI offerings to businesses and corporate customers. Meta said the effort will bring its technology stack, including Muse, Meta Business Agent, Muse API and Muse Code, to businesses and developers. The source reports that Meta hired MongoDB CEO Chirantan “CJ” Desai to lead the initiative.
