Dyson has unveiled the Nurovi range, a new fleet of robot vacuums combining Neural Intelligence technology with Dyson's Vision system. The lineup includes three models: the R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub UV, the hybrid R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry, and the vacuum-only R1 Nurovi Dry.
The flagship R3 uses UV light to make residue from dried liquid spills fluoresce. It can detect concentrated messes, scrub over them, check the area, and repeat the movement. Dyson says the system can identify residue from most sugary drinks, tonic water, sparkling water, and milk.
The R3 uses a roller mop, while the R2 uses two spinning mop pads shaped as Reuleaux triangles. The pads move together to create a straight-edged finish without center gaps, and one pad can extend toward room edges. Both models use heated water, reaching 158°F / 70°C on the R3 and 167°F / 75°C on the R2.
The R2 and R1 include a Twin-capture system for separating fine and coarse debris, plus a piezo sensor that adjusts suction according to dust levels and floor type in Auto mode.
The R3 is scheduled to launch in the US on 15 September for $1,199. The R2 launched in the US on 3 Sept for $699, while the R1 is scheduled to launch this month for $549.
