Dyson has launched Total Restore, a door-to-door cleaning and repair service for cordless vacuums and wet floor cleaners in Great Britain. The service costs £99.99, with additional charges for repairs not covered by warranty.
Dyson collects a cleaner from the customer’s home and takes it to the company’s service and repair centre in Chippenham. Engineers assess airflow, battery health and motor performance, then deep-clean the machine, fix repairable faults and replace worn or damaged components with genuine Dyson parts.
After service, the cleaner is returned with a label showing its last service date and any replacement filters or wet rollers required. Customers also receive digital photos, a health check report and a service certificate.
The service covers cordless vacuums from the Dyson V7 through the V16 Piston Animal, along with wet cleaners including the Dyson WashG1 and PencilWash. Customers can check eligibility on Dyson’s website under “My Products.”
Dyson Chief Engineer Jake Dyson described the service as a “spa day” for a cleaner in an interview with TechRadar. The service is currently available only in Great Britain; Dyson expects to expand it internationally in the future.
