Meta has expanded its agentic AI platform with Muse for Small Business, giving small and medium-sized businesses access to agents that can pursue goals and complete work independently. The company says the tools could handle administrative tasks such as running parts of a business or finding new customers.
Meta points to small businesses as a target because they may not have dedicated staff for marketing, finance and other administrative work. Muse is designed to connect with Meta services, including Instagram professional account analytics, Facebook Pages and Meta ad accounts. It also supports connectors for Asana, Dropbox, Shopify, Slack and Zoom.
The agents can keep working in the background toward set objectives and flag information or problems that need human attention. Examples include reviewing email and calendars for important actions and drafting advertising campaigns based on current trends.
Meta says Muse will be free for most user needs. Businesses can also choose the Power plan for $20 per month, which includes 500M weekly tokens, or the Max plan for $100 per month, with 3B weekly tokens.
Muse first launched for consumers in the US and Canada earlier this month, before the small-business version. OpenAI's Dots, by contrast, launched for business users. The source reports no word on whether Dots will get a consumer version.
