Xiaomi presented the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, an electric vehicle created specifically for the Gran Turismo franchise, at IFA 2026. The virtual concept car has an aerodynamic exterior designed to minimize resistance and a teardrop-shaped cabin with bucket seats focused on comfort rather than a hardcore racing cockpit.
The car is not built for real-world driving. Instead, it is part of a showcase project in which brands create Gran Turismo hypercars while exploring ideas free from the constraints of the physical world.
Xiaomi also showed its new-generation Xiaomi SU7 and flagship SU7 Ultra electric sedans. Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is Xiaomi Auto’s high-performance flagship, and its production version set the official record in the Electric Executive Car category at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Both cars are integrated with Xiaomi’s wider smart ecosystem and are designed to work with owners’ phones and home appliances as part of the Human × Car × Home vision.
Xiaomi Auto has sold cars since 2024, but they have so far been available only in mainland China. The company says it plans to enter European markets, including Germany, in 2027. It did not confirm plans for a UK launch.
