TechRadar praises Beats 360 comfort and sound

TechRadar writer Lance Ulanoff says the Beats 360 wireless Bluetooth headphones combine unusually comfortable over-ear design with powerful, detailed sound.

The headphones move much of their technology and wiring into the earcups, allowing for a thinner, lighter headband. Memory foam and the cover material form to the listener’s head without unnecessary pressure. Each earcup rotates 90 degrees to flatten the headphones for travel, while the 294.5g weight makes them manageable in a backpack. The included fabric case and swappable ear-cushions add to their practicality.

Beats describes the audio system as a high-fidelity acoustic architecture built around a high-dynamic-range amplifier, a custom-designed dual magnetic transducer, and a venting system intended to reduce distortion. The headphones also offer transparency mode, active noise cancellation (ANC), adaptive EQ, Siri, USB-C charging, and controls for volume and playback.

Ulanoff found the sound immersive during a Supergirl movie on HBOMax and said the headphones made the film more watchable. He also reported clear voice quality in Google Meet meetings, helped by 3 voice-pickup microphones out of 9 total, with 6 dedicated to ANC. Beats rates the headphones for 32 hours with ANC on. At $349, with UK and AU pricing still to be confirmed, they sit in the more affordable range of top-tier headphones.
