Super Mouse puts a touchscreen macro pad under your hand

Arctic Fox Technologies has announced the Super Mouse, a multifunction mouse with a touchscreen beneath the user’s hand instead of numerous shortcut buttons across its surface. Its boxy design may not prioritize ergonomics, but the company says it can replace peripherals such as a trackpad, macro pad or streaming controller. It could also serve as a smartphone-sized keyboard with swipe typing for people who type faster on a phone.

The Super Mouse is available to preorder through a Kickstarter campaign for backers at $199. Its planned retail price is $249, and delivery is expected to start in February 2027. The Verge cautions that Kickstarter campaigns can face unforeseen delays.

Its 3.1-inch, 720 x 720 touchscreen sits beneath two standard mouse buttons, a scroll wheel and two customizable “hyper keys.” By comparison, Turtle Beach’s Command Series MC7 has a 2.25-inch display on its side.

The display’s “Control Panel” can hold up to 16 shortcuts, macros or launchers, with controls changing according to the app in use. For example, Adobe Premiere can show editing and playback shortcuts. Users can customize functions through Arctic Fox Technologies’ Flow desktop app.

Other features include Google Calendar event and meeting reminders, locally processed voice-to-text, multiple user profiles, focus timers and productivity tracking. A gyroscope can control slideshows or scrub video through movement. The mouse has no rechargeable battery and draws power through USB-C, so it must remain connected to a PC.
