Sony’s new PlayStation Pulse wireless headset for PS5 is available to pre-order, according to TechRadar. The publication says pre-orders begin at 10am local time, using Eastern Time for the United States. The headset costs $99.99 in the US and £89.99 in the UK, and comes in white or black.
TechRadar describes the model as the successor to the Pulse 3D headset, which launched with the console in 2020. The new headset has planar magnetic drivers and PlayStation Link connectivity, which the report says supports lossless audio. It is also natively compatible with PlayStation Portal.
The report distinguishes this standard Pulse headset from the more premium Pulse Edge, which Sony also revealed. TechRadar says details such as the Pulse Edge’s price and pre-order date have not yet been announced. The article’s links cover pre-orders in the United States and United Kingdom.
