Segway Navimow H510 Pro Uses a Robotic Arm for Lawn Edges

Segway Navimow has introduced the H510 Pro, a robot lawn mower with a mechanical arm designed to trim lawn edges.

When the mower reaches a lawn’s perimeter, the arm extends the main blade by up to 2.9in / 7.4cm. Segway Navimow promises “zero-gap edge trimming.” The company demonstrated the mower at IFA 2026.

Software called EdgeSense coordinates the arm’s movement for hard edges such as walls and patios, soft edges such as flower beds, and irregular edges such as table legs. Because the edge trimmer and the main mower use the same cutting deck, Segway Navimow says the results should be more consistent than those from two separate systems.

The mower has a side shield to create a barrier around the extended blades. Its “live-detection protection” is designed to stop operation instantly when a human or animal approaches, partly using heat sensing.

The H510 Pro also uses Xero-Turn technology, which twists the wheels to help it crab-walk around bends without churning up grass. All four wheels are independently powered, and rear-wheel suspension helps maintain contact on uneven ground.
