RayNeo GT Max XR Glasses Debut With 57-Degree View and Dolby Vision

RayNeo has unveiled the GT Max XR glasses at IFA 2026, positioning them as a higher-performing model than its previous display glasses. They cost $429 / £399 and are not sold directly in Australia, while the Xreal One Pro costs $599 / £579.

The GT Max uses larger drivers than earlier RayNeo glasses. Its audio hardware was tuned by Bang and Olufsen, which optimized the EQ. Optional sound tubes can direct audio more directly into the wearer’s ear as a paid add-on.

The glasses introduce a new optic engine prism that reflects microOLED screens into the eyes. The flatter prism shape, first used by Xreal in its One Pros, works with an anti-reflective coating to reduce reflections disrupting the image. It also enables a 57-degree field of view for a larger virtual image.

RayNeo says the GT Max is the first XR glasses model to support Dolby Vision, a codec designed to improve color clarity and contrast. Dolby Vision content is required to use the feature.

The glasses remain more expensive than RayNeo’s budget models, but their price is below the Xreal One Pro. TechRadar’s reviewer said a full assessment will have to wait for a proper review.
