Oscal’s Pilot 8 combines a large battery and rugged protection with a relatively slim body. The phone uses Qualcomm’s Dragonwing QCM6690 chip, a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, WiFi 7 and a 10,000mAh battery with 55W wired charging.
It measures 178.7 by 85.4 by 17.9mm and weighs 389g. Its 108MP main camera can record 4K video at up to 60fps. The specifications also include 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a microSD slot supporting cards up to 2TB, and a 20MP night-vision camera with infrared lights.
The device has IP68 and IP69K ratings and MIL STD 810H certification. Its stated drop rating is 1.2 metres, which the TechRadar review describes as modest compared with rivals that claim 1.5 metres or more. The review also notes that the phone lacks wireless charging and that no charger is supplied.
TechRadar reports a $356.99 launch offer on AliExpress that ran from 17 to 26 August 2026 and has ended. At the time of the review, the publication found the phone on AliExpress for $356.99 in the US, £343.39 for UK delivery and €402.39 for European buyers. It says the phone was not available on official Oscal regional sites or Amazon at that time.
