NVIDIA Says GeForce RTX 5090 Is Not Discontinued

NVIDIA has denied reports that it has discontinued the GeForce RTX 5090, its flagship Blackwell GeForce GPU. The company says the graphics card will continue shipping, according to Wccftech.

The report attributes the denial to NVIDIA executive Jeff Fisher. It says multiple Taiwanese publications reported NVIDIA’s response to claims that supply of the RTX 5090 had ended.

Those earlier reports, as summarized by Wccftech, said NVIDIA had stopped supplying the RTX 5090 as it sought to direct GB202 dies to its RTX PRO series. NVIDIA’s response acknowledges supply constraints, but says the RTX 5090 is not discontinued.

The available source does not provide further detail on the supply constraints or a timeline for shipments. The reported denial addresses the discontinuation claims; it does not specify how many RTX 5090 cards will be available.
