The NVIDIA App has grown from a launcher for drivers, game optimization and ShadowPlay into a central place for GeForce users to manage graphics features, according to Wccftech.
The app replaces GeForce Experience and has gradually brought together functions that users previously had to find in the NVIDIA Control Panel. NVIDIA confirmed in 2026 that all actively supported Control Panel functions for GeForce users had moved into the app. The company said the classic Control Panel is entering retirement for users of Game Ready and Studio Driver software.
The app now includes more than the former Control Panel did, the report says. Its transition into the main hub for GeForce features marks the completion of the move described by NVIDIA.
