MSI Afterburner Plugin Adds 28 WireView Pro II Sensors to In-Game Overlay

Wccftech reports that a community developer has released an open-source plugin for MSI Afterburner that displays Thermal Grizzly WireView Pro II data in an in-game overlay. The plugin was developed by Reddit user VolterMort.

It exposes 28 sensors through MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS), including individual monitoring of 12V-2×6 pins. The overlay shows power-delivery information without requiring additional background monitoring software, according to the report.

The plugin arrives amid ongoing reports of 16-pin power connectors melting on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 and RTX 50 Series GPUs. The report describes WireView Pro II as one of several monitoring and protection solutions introduced by manufacturers in response to those issues.
