Buying an NVIDIA RTX 5090 at Micro Center reportedly now involves paperwork, including a declaration that the card will not be exported.
Wccftech reports that some retailers are taking additional steps to sell certain graphics cards as availability has worsened. Its report says Micro Center is handing declaration forms to RTX 5090 customers and asking them to agree to conditions, including no export.
The RTX 5090 debuted at $1,999 last year, according to the source. The report says the card has since reached prices above $5,000 in most regions, while demand remains high. It does not specify which regions or provide details about the declaration’s other conditions.
