Marvel and WEBTOON plan to launch a new Marvel Comics app on November 16, 2026, with access to more than 35,000 titles, including titles from Star Wars and 20th Century Studios, according to an official press release.
Developed by WEBTOON Entertainment, the app will offer two subscription tiers. Base will cost $9.99 per month or $69.99 per year. It will include Marvel’s full comics library, with new titles available three months after publication. Ultimate will cost $12.49 per month or $99.99 per year, with new titles available one month after publication.
The app will support traditional and vertical-scroll comics. Announced features include a cover-scroll interface, personalized recommendations, character and creator pages, a Pull List for new issues from followed series and creators, advance browsing of upcoming releases, and a smart panel mode that zooms in on individual panels for mobile devices.
Marvel and WEBTOON are set to present the app at New York Comic Con, scheduled for October 8–11. A limited-time offer for the first year of an Ultimate annual subscription is $59.00, available through the app’s website, according to the article.
