Development platform Lovable has launched EU inference, a feature that lets enterprise customers control where AI models process their requests. The setting applies to development work in Lovable and to AI features in published apps.
The feature is aimed at organizations that need geographic control over their AI use. If a request cannot be processed within the permitted regions, Lovable stops it instead of routing it elsewhere.
There are limits. Some models may run in European countries outside the EU, while web search and browser automation still use US services. The feature also does not affect where application data is stored. Access to some AI features is restricted, and credit consumption increases.
EU inference is available to customers with an Enterprise subscription, according to Techtidningen.
