TechRadar reviewer Mark Knapp found the JMGO N3 Ultimate delivered vivid color and crisp detail, with enough brightness to work in well-lit rooms. Its bright RGB lasers make it a capable option for people who do not plan to build a near-black home theater.
The projector’s motorized gimbal stand and adjustable optics offer flexible setup. Its zoom supports throw ratios from 0.88:1 to 1.7:1, while lens shift can move the image vertically by 130% and sideways by 53%. Knapp found the manual controls best for picture adjustments; automated tools can also resize and reposition the image, though digital keystone correction sometimes engaged unnecessarily.
Dark scenes are a weakness: brightness is not matched by effective dimming, leaving elevated black levels. Motion can also show artifacts. The projector has two HDMI 2.1 ports, including one with eARC, and one USB-A port. Built-in Google TV runs on 4GB of memory, with 64GB of storage, and the projector supports Wi-Fi 6, HDR10 and Dolby Vision.
For gaming, it can switch between 4K at 60Hz and 1080p at 240Hz, and supports VRR. Knapp reported that VRR reduced clarity at both resolutions. TechRadar lists the 2026-launched projector at $2,999 / £2,499, while noting it had already been discounted; at the time of writing, it was available for $2,349 / £2,119.
