Garmin is investigating an issue that can make workouts disappear from its screenless Cirqa tracker after a session ends.
Reports on Garmin’s support forum say the problem occurs when users start a workout with the dedicated button on the Cirqa but end it in the Garmin Connect app. Although the app may show the exercise in progress and the wearable may vibrate after receiving the end instruction, the session can apparently go missing. A forum member summarized the behavior by saying that an activity started with the button should also be ended with the button.
A Garmin representative said that when an activity is started from the Cirqa, Garmin Connect may show an “Activity in Progress” message with “Resume” and “End” options. Selecting “Resume” opens the recording screen, where the activity can be stopped and saved. After the activity is saved and synchronization finishes, it should appear in Garmin Connect.
The representative also acknowledged reports of lost activity data and said Garmin had shared the feedback internally and was contacting some users for more information. Garmin has not announced when a patch will arrive.
Separately, Garmin said it is working on a fix for Garmin Express compatibility with Apple silicon and macOS 27. The app requires Rosetta 2, which was removed from macOS 27, affecting Garmin Fenix 9 users with Mac computers.
