NVIDIA and CoreWeave have made the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 platform available on CoreWeave Cloud, according to Wccftech. The companies announced the availability at Fully Connected 2026.
The platform is in full production and is presented as an upgrade over Blackwell servers. NVIDIA says it can deliver up to 4.8x faster token generation, while customers can complete work in days instead of weeks. These performance claims are attributed to the source’s account of the announcement.
Cognition is the first company to secure capacity on the new CoreWeave installations, the report says. NVIDIA executive Ian Buck also said CoreWeave’s V100 GPUs are still running nearly a decade after their introduction. The source does not provide further details about the V100 deployment or the workloads it runs.
The announcement also mentions Vera-standalone availability in the cloud. The source gives no separate performance figures or deployment details for that offering.
