Colorful has priced its iGame X870E Ultra-S V14 motherboard at $283, according to Wccftech. The board is available for preorder, the publication reports.
The motherboard uses AMD’s AM5 platform and has 19 power phases, five M.2 slots, Wi-Fi 7 and two USB4 ports. It has four DIMM slots and supports DDR5 memory speeds above 8400 MT/s, according to the report.
Colorful recently demonstrated a 192 GB DDR5 memory kit running at 6600 MT/s on the board. The company achieved that speed at CL28, Wccftech says. The report attributes the result to the Ryzen 7 9850X3D’s memory controller and the motherboard’s design.
Wccftech describes the board as aimed at enthusiasts and overclocking. The source does not provide details about preorder availability by region or a shipping date.
