Cambridge’s A100 SE are true wireless earbuds with a broad feature set and a sound that TechRadar describes as spacious, detailed and well balanced. The review says they are a modest update to the earlier A100, adding a deep blue finish and Dolby Audio.
The earbuds use 10mm full-range dynamic drivers with recycled Neodymium, Class A/B amplification, and support for aptX Lossless and LDAC Bluetooth codecs. They also include adaptive hybrid active noise cancellation, Snapdragon Sound, dual-point connectivity and three Qualcomm cVc microphones in each earbud. Their IPX5 rating is listed among the specifications.
TechRadar reports more than 21 hours of playback from the earbuds and charging case with active noise cancellation on, rising to nearly 39 hours with it off. The reviewer praises the open presentation, soundstage, detail and balanced frequency response, while noting that rhythmic expression is less accomplished and touch controls could be more reliable.
The review compares the A100 SE with the JBL Live Beam 4, saying that alternative can last longer and handles rhythm more naturally, though the reviewer considers the difference one of character rather than clear superiority. The article says the A100 SE arrived on October 2, 2026. It does not provide a price for the new model.
