The Boulies Master Rex (2026) is a comfortable gaming chair with extensive adjustment options, a built-in footrest and a restrained design that can fit in an office. Its fabric upholstery feels soft and durable, while the stitching and metal wheelbase add to the chair’s solid construction.
The seat is firmer than the previous model’s, and its raised front edge may press uncomfortably against the thighs. The backrest reclines to 165 degrees and includes a rocking function, while the built-in lumbar support can be adjusted for height and prominence. Both lumbar controls have limited range and require many turns.
The standout feature is the 6D armrests, which offer many positions through multiple pivots and rotations. Their tilt function is less useful, and the armrests can wobble, although they remain stable during normal use. The integrated footrest is simple and supports the calves more than the feet.
