Bose Says to ‘Stay Tuned’ on a Potential New Gaming Headset

Bose president Raza Haider says the company is keeping an eye on the gaming community as it considers future audio products. Asked about a new gaming headset, Haider told TechRadar readers to “absolutely stay tuned,” while stressing that any product would need to meet the community’s expectations.

Bose has released few gaming audio products in recent years, the report says, citing the QC35 II gaming headset from 2021. Haider said the earlier headset did not feel authentic to its intended audience. For a new product, he said, Bose would need to make something authentic to gamers and meet a performance standard that its current offering does not quite reach.

Haider said Bose hopes something may come “at some point in the future” and that the company is watching the gaming community closely. He did not announce a product or release date.

TechRadar gave the Bose QC35 II four stars in its review. The publication praised its noise cancellation, balanced sound and comfort, while noting it lacked gaming-focused features such as an instant mute button or automatic play and pause.
