AMD adds Ryzen 5 7500 to Zen 4 lineup with 5 GHz boost and RDNA 2 graphics, plus Ryzen 5 5500F

AMD has quietly added two processors to its older Zen 3 and Zen 4 families. The Ryzen 5 7500 is now listed on AMD’s official website as part of the Zen 4 lineup.

The processor belongs to the Raphael series, also known as Ryzen 7000 desktop CPUs. Its listed features include a 5 GHz boost and integrated RDNA 2 graphics. The official listing confirms AMD’s addition of the chip after reports from a few days earlier suggested that the company might be preparing a new Zen 4 processor.

AMD also introduced the Ryzen 5 5500F, a new processor based on Zen 3. The two releases expand AMD’s existing processor families rather than introducing a new architecture. The Ryzen 5 7500’s inclusion of integrated graphics distinguishes it from the other newly listed model in the report.
