Adobe Brings Its Creative Tools to Slack

Adobe announced an integration that lets Slack users access its apps through Slack’s AI chatbot, Slackbot. The available tools include Firefly, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Stock, and Lightroom.

More than 70 Adobe tools will also become available in Slack through the Adobe for Slack MCP app. Users can describe a task, and Slackbot will call the appropriate Adobe tool. The chatbot can use context from conversations and Canvas while carrying out requests.

For example, users can turn information from conversations or Canvas into PDFs, images, and videos. They can also bring assets from previous campaigns or the Creative Cloud asset library into a chat and edit them.

The integration will initially be available to Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ teams. Adobe said people are using its tools in other apps for repeatable workflows such as batch-editing images and resizing creatives without leaving the app.

Adobe introduced a similar integration for ChatGPT last month and plans to launch a Gemini integration soon. Canva and Figma are also making their capabilities available in chatbots such as ChatGPT and Claude, while Anthropic is releasing tighter integrations in Slack.
