Wccftech reviews the 8BitDo Ultimate 3 for Xbox as a potential alternative to Microsoft's Xbox Elite Series 2. The review describes the premium controller market as increasingly competitive, with demand for drift-resistant thumbsticks, Hall-effect sensors and advanced customization creating room for companies such as 8BitDo.
According to the review summary, the Ultimate 3 is the company's strongest effort yet. Its listed features include magnetic sensor thumbsticks, Hall-effect triggers, remappable inputs, wireless charging, software customization and multi-platform connectivity.
The available source summary does not include the review's detailed testing, conclusions or pricing. It therefore supports a comparison of the controller's listed features, but not a verdict on how it performs or whether it is a worthy alternative to the Elite Series 2.
