Verinu readers can request deletion of their account and personal data at any time.
How to request deletion
- Sign in to Verinu with the same account used to create your reader profile.
- Open your account page and use the account-deletion option when it is available.
- If you cannot sign in, send a deletion request through the contact page. Include the email address connected to your Verinu account and state that you want the account deleted.
What we delete
After verifying the request, we delete or anonymise the Verinu reader profile, connected social-login identifier, profile details, and personal information associated with comments where applicable. Security, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal records may be retained only for as long as required.
Browser data
Language, appearance, viewed-story, and installation preferences stored only in your browser can be removed by clearing site data for Verinu.news.
Timing and contact
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will contact you if additional verification or a lawful retention period is required. For more information, see the Privacy Policy.
