Handelshögskolan in Stockholm has begun a five-year partnership with Norwegian company DNV to strengthen research on cybersecurity and digital resilience.
The work will focus on how company executives and boards can handle cyber threats, technical disruptions and geopolitical uncertainty. Under the agreement, DNV becomes a long-term partner to Handelshögskolan’s Center for Security and Resilience.
The collaboration will combine academic research with business experience in technology, risk management and security. DNV’s Chief Digital and Development Officer, Klas Bendrik, said technology alone cannot make an organization resilient. He said organizational governance, leaders’ priorities and decision-making under uncertainty are becoming increasingly important.
The partnership will also support Handelshögskolan’s Nordic Defense MBA program and its annual Nordic Security and Competitiveness Day.
