Mod Brings NVIDIA DLSS Features to AMD Radeon GPUs

A new update to the DLSS-NR-on-AMD project brings several NVIDIA DLSS features to AMD Radeon graphics cards, according to Wccftech.

Developer danielblnc released version 0.8.0 of the mod, which supports AMD’s RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 architectures. The project now includes DLSS Super Resolution, Ray Reconstruction and Frame Generation, including Multi Frame Generation, alongside DLSS 5 Neural Rendering.

The project began as an effort to bring DLSS 5 Neural Rendering to Radeon GPUs. Its scope has since expanded to cover more of NVIDIA’s DLSS feature set. The source describes the support as applying to “virtually all” of NVIDIA’s modern DLSS features; that characterization is attributed to Wccftech.

DLSS is NVIDIA’s technology, while Radeon GPUs use AMD architectures. The update is a community mod; the available source does not specify which games or configurations support the features, or provide performance results.
