HP’s EliteBoard G1a packs a Windows PC into a full-size keyboard. A review by German outlet ComputerBase found the design well executed, with a spill-resistant keyboard that is easy to clean and a replaceable keyboard module.
The tested configuration combines an AMD Ryzen AI 7 PRO 350 processor, Radeon 860M graphics, 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The chassis measures 358 x 119 x 18mm and weighs 670g. It has two USB-C ports, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0, but no touchpad. HP includes a pre-paired HP 675M wireless mouse.
ComputerBase measured a Cinebench 2024 multi-core score of 794, below the 841 it recorded with the same chip in a Sapphire Edge AI mini PC. In Cyberpunk 2077, the EliteBoard averaged 14.1fps at 1080p with high settings. The review also found limits for local AI: Qwen3 14B ran at 3.9 tokens per second on the CPU and 4.2 on the GPU in LM Studio; the NPU was unavailable.
The 32Wh battery is included in three German configurations, though it is optional or absent in some other markets. HP claims 3.5 hours of runtime; ComputerBase measured 6 hours and 21 minutes in its Procyon office test and 4 hours and 18 minutes while streaming 4K YouTube. The reviewed configuration has a €2,149 MSRP. The review describes the price as a major drawback for a product aimed at professionals and enterprises.
