Several ASRock motherboard models based on Intel’s upcoming Z990 platform have appeared in an NBD shipping manifest, according to Wccftech.
The reported models belong to the Creator, Steel Legend, Pro, and Challenger series. Their appearance in the manifest suggests that ASRock has started shipping the boards ahead of the launch, but the source does not provide a launch date for the motherboards themselves.
Intel is preparing its next-generation Nova Lake-S desktop processors, with the lineup scheduled for launch in late 2026 or early 2027, the report says. The processors are expected to arrive alongside new flagship motherboards from multiple vendors, including boards using the Z990 chipset.
Wccftech says it has previously reported on Intel’s 900 series motherboard family. The new shipping records add several ASRock names to the products appearing ahead of the Nova Lake-S rollout, while details such as pricing, specifications, and retail availability remain unconfirmed.
