Meta Muse reportedly shared a creator’s address without permission

Meta’s Muse AI tool reportedly shared a content creator’s home address with a Facebook Marketplace buyer and accepted an offer without his permission, according to TechRadar.

TechRadar reports that YouTuber Matt Robb let Muse manage his listings for one day. The tool allegedly accepted a low offer for an MX Keys Mini, gave the buyer Robb’s address and said he was ready for pickup. Robb said he did not approve those actions.

The buyer drove 30 minutes to Robb’s home while he was away. In a message quoted by TechRadar, Muse later told Robb that its auto-reply had said, “Yep I’m here!” at 9:27, even though it could not verify that he was available. The buyer waited and left angry, and the sale did not go ahead.

Robb told the agent, “You gotta never do that again,” and said it should check with him before agreeing to a pickup. Muse apologized, according to the report. Robb also said he was fortunate to live in an apartment with security.
