TechRadar review finds FLSUN T1 fast and dimensionally accurate

TechRadar reviewer Alastair Jennings says the FLSUN T1 combines high print speeds with strong dimensional accuracy, while requiring careful assembly and accepting only one filament at a time.

The Delta-style printer has a build volume of Ø260 x 330mm. FLSUN quotes a maximum speed of 1,000mm/s and acceleration of 30,000mm/s². The review says those figures are difficult for even recent CoreXY machines to match, but notes that speed alone is not enough if the extrusion system cannot keep up.

Jennings reports that the first prints had minor surface imperfections. Tightening a grub screw around the suspended print head improved print quality. He says assembly was straightforward overall, with most complex mechanical parts arriving pre-assembled, but emphasizes that correct tightening matters.

The printer supports single-filament printing and has a cooling system the reviewer describes as powerful but noisy. Its footprint is 436 x 490mm, and it stands 836mm tall. The review also notes compatibility with standard E3D nozzles and a heated chamber.

Jennings says the T1 produced some of the most dimensionally accurate prints he had seen from a printer at this price level after careful assembly and adjustment. He considers it suited to rapid prototyping and functional printing, while identifying noise, single-filament operation and setup as compromises. The review says assembly took about an hour.
