Godox iT32 flash kit costs $79, with X5 triggers sold separately

Godox’s iT32 is a compact flash kit designed to make off-camera photography simpler. In a TechRadar review, Timothy Coleman says its magnetic X5 remote trigger attaches to a camera’s hotshoe, while the flash can be detached for handheld use.

The X5 is offered in five versions for Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm, and Olympus/Panasonic camera systems. Coleman tested versions for Canon, Nikon, and Olympus, and reports that each worked with iTTL flash metering. The iT32 also has a touchscreen for settings and an internal battery that charges over USB-C.

The flash supports iTTL, manual, and multi-strobe modes, as well as rear-curtain, front-curtain, and high-speed flash options. The reviewer describes the maximum output as bright, but the supplied text gives no power rating.

TechRadar lists the iT32 at $79 / £87 (about AU$140). X5 triggers cost an additional $19–20 / £17–18 (about AU$30). The Fujifilm trigger is priced at $19 / £17, while triggers for Sony, Canon, Nikon, and Olympus cost $20 / £18 each. Godox supplied the review unit and its three triggers to Coleman for testing.
