TechRadar reviewer Zak Storey calls the Razer Blade 16 (2026) one of the best gaming laptops he has tested, while noting its unusually high price and lack of an Ethernet port. The review describes a slim aluminum design with an OLED display and strong performance.
The tested configuration combines an Nvidia RTX 5090 graphics card rated at 175W with an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and 32GB of LPDDR5X memory running at 9,600 MT/s. Its 16-inch OLED screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a 240 Hz refresh rate. Storey reports that Cyberpunk 2077 and Total War: Warhammer 3 ran at frame rates well into the hundreds with ultra settings.
The review also praises the laptop’s battery life for its specifications, cooling, and understated design. Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 5 and Thunderbolt 4, an SD card reader, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0, but no Ethernet port.
Prices for the base model start at $3,499, £3,499, and AU$5,999. It comes with an RTX 5070 Ti and a 1TB SSD; the review unit had an RTX 5090 and a 2TB SSD. Buyers can configure the laptop with an RTX 5080 or up to 64GB of memory. The review says demand is high or supply is limited in some regions, where units may be available for preorder or out of stock.
