VZMORE’s iX9 Max is the company’s first Intel-based mini PC, following its public debut at IFA in early September 2026. The system pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H with 24GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD in an aluminum chassis measuring 5.31 x 5.19 x 2.27 inches. It is sold in one configuration for $949, or $899 with a discount code that was available at the time of TechRadar’s report.
TechRadar counts 14 data and audio/video ports, excluding the power jack. They include five USB-A ports, two USB4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 outputs, two 2.5GbE Ethernet jacks, a USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headset jack and an SD 4.0 card reader. One USB4 port supports up to 100W USB-C power input. Both HDMI ports support 4K output, but not 120Hz; the PC has no front USB-C connector.
The Core Ultra 9 185H launched in December 2023 and has 16 cores and 22 threads. VZMORE offers 20W, 40W and 65W power modes. The chip’s NPU reaches 11 TOPS, below Intel’s 40 TOPS threshold for next-generation AI PCs, so the company’s “local AI capabilities” rely primarily on the CPU and GPU.
VZMORE claims the iX9 Max renders 45% faster under thermal stress than a “base-configured M3 system” in its Cinebench 2026 testing, but does not identify the M3 machine. It also claims its vapor chamber has 40% more heat-spreading area and 50% better heat transfer than a conventional dual-heat-pipe design, and that the PC can sustain 65W below 38dB. These performance and cooling figures are company claims.
