SuperMe raises $20M for AI expert profile network

SuperMe has raised $20 million in funding to expand its network of AI profiles built from the knowledge of real-life experts. The round was led by Kirsten Green at Forerunner, with participation from Greylock Partners.

Users can enter a question on SuperMe’s website, and the platform selects relevant expert profiles and brings them together in a group chat. Users can also ask questions directly on an individual profile or return to groups they have joined. The company says its profiles can draw on public sources such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Substack and blogs, as well as connected apps including Google Drive, Notion and Gmail.

SuperMe said its collected data may include personal information and trade secrets, but that none of this information appears in answers. The network is currently free. The company plans to limit the number of questions users can ask before charging, and is considering incentives for experts to contribute more knowledge.

Founded in 2024 by Casey Winters and Ludo Antonov, SuperMe also works with MCP, allowing users to ask questions through chatbots such as Claude and ChatGPT. The startup has about 13 employees and is hiring to improve its AI models and expand its expert network. Winters told TechCrunch that the company aims to make the knowledge of people with niche skills more accessible.
