Samsung has raised prices for nearly every Galaxy S26 model on its US website, with increases of $100 or more, according to Phone Arena, as reported by The Verge. The base Galaxy S26 with 256GB of storage now costs $999, up from $899.
The Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus had already launched earlier this year at prices $100 above their S25 predecessors. Samsung partly attributed those earlier increases to higher RAM prices. Combined, the two rounds of increases mean the base S26 costs $200 more than the base S25 did.
Most S26 configurations went up by $100. The 256GB Galaxy S26 is now $999, and the 512GB model is $1,199. The Galaxy S26 Plus costs $1,199 with 256GB or $1,399 with 512GB. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is $1,399 with 256GB and $1,599 with 512GB. Its 1TB version rose by $200, from $1,799 to $1,999.
The S26 FE appears unaffected by this latest increase and still starts at $699. That starting price is higher than the S25 FE’s, though The Verge’s Dominic Preston described the new model as essentially “the same phone as last year’s.” Apple and Google have also raised phone prices this year.
