Peloton has announced three treadmills: the Tread Flex, Tread Vision and Tread Vision Plus. They are set to launch starting October 1, though the announcement does not specify a year.
The Tread Vision is a non-folding model starting at $3,495. Its Movement Tracking Camera uses vertical displacement to count steps and calculate cadence, and assesses running form. Peloton says it will provide a Running Efficiency Score and personalized AI feedback, including on vertical oscillation. Chief Product Officer Nick Caldwell said the system had improved marathon training for some users and described it as more accurate than similar metrics from wearables.
The Tread Vision also has a new cushioning system and redesigned speed controls with jump-up and jump-down buttons alongside the existing dial. Peloton’s other announced models are the folding Tread Flex, priced at $2,195, and the Tread+ Vision, priced at $6,695. The source says pricing for the Tread+ Vision outside the US is still to be confirmed.
Peloton says ReRun, which recreates route elevation profiles on the treadmill, and IQ Pace Target will also come to older treadmills. Run Analysis is limited to models with the Computer Vision camera, according to Chief Marketing Officer Megan Imbres. The company also announced heart-rate-zone workouts that can connect with monitors and wearables from Garmin, Apple, Google and Whoop.
