NVIDIA has brought DLSS 5 with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering to Portal with RTX and the Half-Life 2 RTX demo. The updates let players try the graphics technology in two classic Valve titles enhanced with full path tracing, according to Wccftech.
Both games also received rendering and performance improvements. These include support for up to 6X Multi Frame Generation on compatible GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. The source does not specify how much the improvements change performance.
The updates follow the release of NVIDIA RTX Remix 1.6. Wccftech says that version of NVIDIA's open-source modding platform introduced DLSS 5 integration, expanded frame generation capabilities and Windows on ARM support. The source does not provide further details about those features.
