Meta opens early access requests for Muse features

Meta is opening requests for early access to new features for its Muse AI app, following announcements at the company’s Connect 2026 developer conference.

Meta said on Friday that users can ask Muse to add them to the early access list. The company shared a prompt on X that users can send to Muse to register their interest. The prompt reads: “Can you let the Muse team know I want to be part of the Muse early access program?”

Meta has not specified which features early participants will be able to try. At Connect, the company previewed a digital avatar for Muse that users will be able to video chat with, more shopping partnerships and connectors, and an expansion of the Muse Mac app that will let it use a computer to complete tasks. Meta also said Muse would come to its AI glasses, where users could interact with the agent by saying a wake word and then giving a command.

TechCrunch reports that Meta is seeking AI enthusiasts to try the features first. The article suggests this approach could help Meta gather feedback from people who use multiple AI apps and agents, but the company has not stated that as its reason for the program.
