TechRadar’s Alastair Jennings reviewed the Khadas Mind Pro, a compact mini PC with a modular design and an integrated standby battery. He found it powerful for everyday productivity and creative work, while noting its high price and limited connectivity.
The Mind Pro measures 146 × 105 × 28mm and has a 7.98Wh battery that can maintain a Windows session while the computer is disconnected. Jennings said he could reconnect it at home and continue working without reopening applications.
The reviewed configuration pairs an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor with 64GB of RAM, integrated Intel Arc B390 graphics and a 2TB SSD. Jennings reported good results with Microsoft Office, Photoshop and Lightroom, and said Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve were usable with 4K footage. Cyberpunk 2077 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle ran at medium-quality settings, with occasional frame drops during extended play.
The mini PC has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, which Jennings found limiting when connecting a USB-C monitor, power supply and external storage. Optional accessories include the Mind Dock, Mind xPlay and Mind Graphics 2, which expand its modular capabilities but add to the cost.
The reviewed configuration costs $2,599 and is available directly from Khadas. Jennings described the Mind Pro as powerful and portable, but said its price and the additional cost of accessories mean it will not suit most users.
