Intel has unveiled its D-Series GPUs, formerly known as Crescent Island, as a lineup for AI data centers. The series is based on Intel’s Xe3P architecture.
The first product announced is the Intel GPU D270. Intel says the Crescent Island D-Series GPUs deliver 1.3 PFLOPs of FP8 performance at 350W. The announcement presents the hardware as competing with professional cards from NVIDIA and AMD.
The Xe3P graphics architecture was also previewed by Intel during deep dives on Panther Lake and Xe3. The available source does not provide further specifications for the D270, or details about pricing, release timing, or performance comparisons.
