California-based DT Research has unveiled the LT365PA, a 15.6-inch rugged laptop aimed at crime scene investigators, crash reconstruction teams and military command posts. The company says it is designed to process video, drone imagery, 3D scans and sensor feeds where data is collected, without relying on a network connection or distant data center.
The laptop uses an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H or Core Ultra 7 255H processor, 16GB to 32GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 2TB of storage. Its 15.6-inch touchscreen is rated at 1,200 nits. Optional configurations include a 4K display, night-vision-compatible displays, and Nvidia RTX A2000 or RTX 5000 Ada graphics. DT Research lists the latter as “RTX 5000A.” The product page also lists an IP65 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification.
The RTX 5000 Ada option has 9,728 CUDA cores and 16GB of memory, compared with 2,560 CUDA cores and 8GB for the A2000 module, according to PNY’s module specifications. DT Research has not disclosed pricing or battery life, and has not named software partners or provided processing-time figures. The company says the laptop will reach authorized partners and resellers worldwide in the first quarter of 2027.
The LT365PA follows DT Research’s LT355, launched in 2023. The new model adds a newer Intel platform, the RTX 5000 Ada option, 4K and IR camera options, and weighs 1.1lb (0.5kg) less. Its memory capacity is lower on paper: the LT355 supported up to 64GB, while the LT365PA supports up to 32GB. The RTX 5000 Ada version is a more substantial graphics upgrade than the A2000 configuration.
