Chris Pratt says plans are being made for Star-Lord to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In a report by IGN Nordic Marvel, Pratt confirmed that the character’s return is actively being figured out.

Star-Lord has been absent from the MCU since 2023. His last appearance ended with a promise during the credits: “Star-Lord will return.” Pratt discussed the character’s future while speaking with The Playlist, according to IGN Nordic Marvel.

The report does not identify a project or give a timetable for Star-Lord’s return. It says the plans are being worked out now.
