Bose’s wired earbuds combine ANC with lossless USB-C audio

TechRadar’s Carrie Marshall reports that Bose’s Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds pair active noise cancellation (ANC) with a wired USB-C connection. They come with a 4.2-ft / 1.3m cable and support lossless audio up to 24-bit/48kHz through USB Audio Class 2. Bose says the connection has very low latency and keeps sound closely in sync with on-screen content.

The earbuds have no 3.5mm plug, battery, or Bluetooth pairing; Bose describes them as plug-and-play. An inline remote controls volume, playback, calls, and noise cancellation, and includes a microphone for voice calls and voice control. Noise control has three settings: off, Aware, and Quiet. Bose says the latter two use its four-mic QuietControl system to process and remove ambient audio.

The earbuds have an IPX4 water-resistance rating. They come in Black, White Smoke, and Dewdrop Mint, with two sizes of wingtips and three sizes of ear tips included. The UK price is £99, which TechRadar describes as roughly $131 / AU$186. Bose says all three models will be available from 15 October 2026.
